The Decisive Moment |
Anna has loved taking photographs for a long time. She is not entirely sure how to explain the mysterious magnetism she feels towards it, except to use the words of a particular hero of hers, 19th century French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson. He said “I suddenly understood that a photograph could fix eternity in an instant”, and therein lies part of the answer - to fire the shutter and capture an utterly unique moment in time. Anna’s burgeoning passion led her to take a GCSE in photography whilst studying for her A-levels, and she likes to use this fact as the excuse for failing one of them. Taking photographs or reading obscure French literature….it was never a difficult decision. |
From
here Anna’s other love grew; that of travelling this beautiful and
fascinating world of ours. She went on to study Photography at degree
level, but not before living in Australia for a year. Memories of
beautiful countries stay sharp in the form of photographs, and being
able to combine these two activities makes Anna really happy. If
